Twin City scored three straight goals in an eight-and-a-half-minute span to give the North Iowa Bulls a good scare Saturday night, but the Bulls answered with a four-goal flurry to put the Steel out of the playoffs with an opening-round sweep for the third time in the last four years.

Special teams handled the scoring in the first 40 minutes of the North Iowa Bulls' 4-1 win over Twin City Friday night, before a couple of even-strength goals for the Bulls put the game away and put North Iowa within a win of the NA3HL West Division Finals.

The 2015 NA3HL West Division title came down to the final weekend for the North Iowa Bulls and Granite City Lumberjacks, but a four-goal run for the Bulls helped them put away Granite City for their third straight division crown, beating the Lumberjacks 6-4 at the North Iowa Ice Arena on Friday night.
