Mason City, IA – North Iowa Bulls Forward & Assistant Captain Denis Hodas has been named the NAHL Central Division’s Star of the Week for the final week of the 2025-26 regular season.

The Zilina, Slovakia, native ended his junior hockey career in spectacular fashion. In two games, Hodas scored 3 goals and 6 assists for 9 points to lead the Bulls to a pair of victories.

On Friday, Denis recorded a hat trick that included a shorthanded goal, a power play goal, and the overtime winning strike against the St. Cloud Norsemen.

The next night, Hodas concluded his season with a 6-assist master class in the Bulls’ 7-3 victory over the Minnesota Mallards. The Saturday performance stands as a single game Bulls’ NAHL game.

“Denis had a phenomenal finish to the season,” said North Iowa Bulls Head Coach Nick Bruneteau. “He made it impossible to take him off the ice and showcased why he is one of the most talented players in our league. We look forward to watching his future achievements and wish him nothing but the best.”

Hodas’ prolific weekend brings his season scoring total to 26 goals, 33 assists, and 59 points in 57 games played. He ends his year as one of four Bulls forwards to clear the point-per-game mark on the season along with Mike Malatino (59GP: 28G/36A/64P), Vitaliy Korolyuk (57 Games Played: 23G/37A/60P), and Fuji Suzuki (43GP: 29G/23A/52P).

This is Denis’ second Star of the Week honor. The first was for his five goals in three games
