Nolan Grier Commits to UW-Eau Claire

Mason City, IA- The North Iowa Bulls are thrilled to announce that Bulls forward and Assistant Captain Nolan Grier has committed to play NCAA DIII Hockey for the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire. 

The Fond Du Lac, WI, native has so far played 48 games in a North Iowa Bulls jersey this season and has eight goals and three assists for eleven points on the 2023-24 season. 

Grier is in his third year of junior hockey. He spent most of last season with the Waywayseecappo Warriors of the Manitoba Junior Hockey League and played two games for the NAHL’s Oklahoma Warriors. In the 2021-22 season, Grier played 15 games for the NAHL’s Jamestown Warriors and 22 regular season games and 2 playoff games for the NA3HL’s Willmar WarHawks. 

The UW Eau-Claire Blugolds play in the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) and have claimed a national championship in 2013. Grier will join former North Iowa Bulls netminder Max Gutjahr on the Blugolds’ roster for the 2024-25 season.
