Mason City, IA- The North Iowa Bulls are thrilled to announce that forward and Captain Jack Seaverson and defenseman Evan Johnson have been selected to represent the North Iowa Bulls at the North American Hockey League’s Top Prospects Tournament in Plymouth, Michigan.

Seaverson is in his third season with the Bulls. This season, Seaverson has laced up for 27 games and has put up 5 goals and 18 assists for 23 points. The Chaska, MN, native was the Bulls’ top scorer last season with 32 points in 60 games and has played a remarkable 130 NAHL games, including the six games spent with the Minnesota Wilderness before arriving in Mason City. In the six games since returning from an injury sustained on Thanksgiving Day, Seaverson has posted 1 goal and 7 assists for 8 points.
Johnson is in his second stint with the Bulls. He earned a call up in the 2022-23 season while playing for the Pittsburgh Penguins 18U AAA Program. He split the 2023-24 season with the NAHL’s Philadelphia Rebels and the AJHL’s Whitecourt Wolverines. This season, he opened up with the Minnesota Wilderness for two games before joining the Bulls and becoming a mainstay on the blue line.
In 32 total NAHL games this season, Johnson has posted 4 goals and 22 assists for 26 points. The Wayzata, MN, native is 9th highest scorer in the NAHL this season. He’s posted 10 power play assists this season, good for 10th in the NAHL.
This season’s Top Prospects Tournament is being held on February 17th & 18th at the USA Hockey Arena in Plymouth, Michigan, home of the US National Development Program. Seaverson & Johnson will be skating for the NAHL’s Central Division Team.
