Saturday’s Game Moved to Litchfield, Minn.

Oct 2, 2019

LITCHFIELD, Minn. – North Iowa will be playing the Willmar WarHawks on Saturday as scheduled, but the game will not be played in Willmar.

Due to renovations at the Willmar Civic Center that have not yet been finished, the WarHawks will host Saturday’s game at the Litchfield Civic Arena. The published faceoff time of 7:30 p.m. will not change. The game is Willmar’s 2019-20 home opener, and all of the WarHawks’ remaining home games this season are still slated to be played at the Willmar Civic Center.

Fans would likely travel through Litchfield on the way to Willmar, as the town of roughly 6,700 people sits on U.S. Highway 12 west of the Twin Cities.

DIRECTIONS TO THE ARENA:

Follow U.S. 12 into town from the southeast, turn right on Davis Ave. (at the Casey’s).
Go one block north to E. South St. and turn left.
Go one block west to Gilman Ave. and turn right.
Follow Gilman Ave. north to Litchfield High School – the arena will be on your right.
