Jun 4, 2014

North Iowa Bulls forward Ian Penvose has committed to Northeastern University on an academic scholarship and will be a part of the ACHA Division 2 Huskies program. Penvose, from Woodbury, MN was an impact player for the Bulls playing in 42 regular season games, 9 NA3HL playoff games, and all 5 games at the USA Hockey Tier III national tournament recording point totals of 16 goals and 15 assists and was a +31. Three of Ian's goals were game winners. Ian was one of our most responsible players and garnered regular PK time and some PP time as well. Ian was called up to the NAHL Austin Bruins for a weekend series this year and competed well according to the Bruin's staff. "Ian will be missed but we wish him the best at Northeastern and know that this was an opportunity he could not pass up." The North Iowa Bulls wish Ian the best of luck in his academic and hockey pursuits at Northeastern.
