North Iowa overcame a two-goal deficit to capture the victory. North Iowa fell behind 4-2 after a goal by Alexandria\’s Logan Norman at 17:27 in the second period. North Iowa tied things up at 5-5 on a goal by Ryan Marciniak at 11:51 in the third period.
Brett Gravelle had two goals to lead North Iowa to victory. Gravelle found the back of the net 13:38 into the second period to make the score 3-2 Alexandria and again while 3:10 into the third to make the score 5-4 North Iowa.
