“North Iowa Bulls Week” Declared in Mason City

May 18, 2021

MASON CITY, Iowa – After earning their fourth national championship just last month, the North Iowa Bulls’ “Decade of Dominance” has received recognition from the highest levels of Mason City government. Mason City mayor Bill Schickel has declared the week of May 18-24 to be “North Iowa Bulls Week” in Mason City, publicly reading the proclamation at Tuesday’s Mason City council meeting.

It is believed to be the first time a junior hockey team in Mason City has been honored in such a way. The proclamation recognizes the Bulls organization for its successes on and off the ice, including the team’s 365 regular-season wins over its 10 years of NA3HL play, and the Bulls’ hundreds of hours of community service and volunteer work each season.

The North Iowa Bulls organization sincerely thanks the City of Mason City for its recognition, and its past and present players, staff and volunteers for making this honor possible.
