North Iowa Bulls Issue Statement on COVID-19

Mar 12, 2020

MASON CITY, Iowa – As the North Iowa Bulls prepare for the NA3HL Fraser Cup West Division Semifinals, the Mason City Multipurpose Arena will add precautionary measures with cleaning due to recent events concerning the COVID-19 Virus (commonly known as Coronavirus). The state-of-the-art facility is being thoroughly cleaned after every event with high quality industrial disinfectant and cleaning products, including the cleaning and disinfection of stadium chairs and all handrails.

At this time, the North Iowa Bulls will conduct business at games as normal. Games scheduled for the Mason City Multipurpose Arena will continue as scheduled, and these games will remain open to all fans holding a valid ticket. The team’s business office will monitor the situation through the local, state and federal authorities and take necessary precautions if it becomes necessary to do so. However, per guidelines and safety protocols released by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), if you are experiencing respiratory or related health issues, experts recommend these individuals do not attend events with large numbers of people.

The Bulls wish to express their gratitude to fans across northern Iowa for their passionate support of the team, and for the home-ice advantage they have helped to create in the team’s first half-season in downtown Mason City.
