2022-23 PROMOTIONAL SCHEDULE

MASON CITY, Iowa – The North Iowa Bulls are excited to announce a fun-filled promotional schedule for the 2022-23 season, with room to add on as the season goes along.

A minimum of 25 home games will be on the promotional calendar for this year, including the team’s preseason home contest on September 7 against the Corpus Christi IceRays. The Bulls’ “soft launch” on the upcoming season will feature a postgame skate and on-ice meet-and-greet with this year’s players, giving fans a chance to welcome the newest Bulls to town and reconnect with their favorite returners.

Among the season’s early highlights is the “Bulls Against Bullies” weekend October 14 and 15 against the Minot Minotauros, which will be held in conjunction with the North American Hockey League’s annual October “Be Kind, Bullying Hurts” campaign. The Bulls will spend November celebrating Retrieving Freedom with their “Helping Hounds” weekend November 4 and 5 against the Aberdeen Wings, and local firefighters and law enforcement with “Fire and Ice” against the Bismarck Bobcats on November 18 and 19.

The holiday season returns on Saturday, November 26 with the Bulls’ annual Teddy Bear Toss, and hits full speed on the final night of 2022 with the “Rock the Arena” game against the Austin Bruins, featuring a postgame skating party that will take fans right up to the stroke of midnight.

The promotional schedule ramps up again late in the season, starting with a March 3 contest against the St. Cloud Norsemen that celebrates Dr. Seuss’s birthday and kicks off the NAHL’s “Read to Succeed” month. The second visit from the Minotauros on March 24 and 25 will be the Bulls’ “Rodeo Night” as part of a two-night “Battle of the Horns” against North Iowa’s Central Division cattle counterparts. The final weekend of the home slate on April 7 and 8 includes the team’s annual Pets & Pucks Night that Friday against Bismarck, and the Bulls’ annual Scout Night promotion the following night to close out a 28-game Central Division home schedule.

The highlight of the 2022-23 promotional schedule is, as in past years, North Iowa’s jersey auction weekends – the Bulls will celebrate two jersey auction weekends this season, starting with their “Pink the Rink” jerseys October 28 and 29 against the Springfield Jr. Blues. The next jersey auction weekend comes in the latter stages of the season, set for March 17 and 18 against the Aberdeen Wings. Both weekends will see the Bulls wear their special jerseys for both games, followed by a postgame skate and live jersey auction after the Saturday night contest.

Four dates have been left open with the expectation of adding promotions as the season continues, with three of those dates set for home weekends in January and February.

Season tickets remain available for the Bulls’ 2022-23 schedule, and single-game tickets go on sale September 1. For updated news and information on North Iowa Bulls hockey, visit www.northiowabulls.com or follow the team’s social media platforms on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and YouTube.
