Mason City, IA- The North Iowa Bulls are excited to announce that Goaltender Kyle Ozgun has committed to play NCAA Division III College Hockey at Skidmore College, in Saratoga Springs, New York.
Ozgun arrived to Mason City after a successful prep hockey career at the Lawrenceville School, in his home state of New Jersey. The Ridgefield native made his debut at the 2024 NAHL Showcase, recording a pair of wins and ending his showcase with a shootout win over Corpus Christi. He notched two shutouts in the 2024-25 season while he ultimately recorded a 3.25 Goals Against Average and a .902 save percentage while also earning a call-up to the USHL’s Dubuque Fighting Saints.
Ozgun is the 10th Bull to earn a collegiate commitment this season.
“Kyle had a great season,” said Bulls Head Coach Nick Bruneteau. “He routinely made big saves and gave us a chance to win every night. We look forward to watching his success at the next level and wish him the very best.”
