Mason City, IA- North Iowa Bulls defenseman Kash Crawford has been called up to the Omaha Lancers of the United States Hockey League, marking the second in-season call up for the North Iowa Bulls this season.
In 14 games this season, the Atlanta, GA, native has put up six assists on the season. Crawford suited up for 45 games last year for the Bulls in his first season of junior hockey and notched 1 goal and 13 assists for 14 points. Crawford started this season with the Lancers, and recorded an assist in two games at the USHL’s Showcase event in Pittsburgh.
Vince Kalscheur was the first Bulls’ USHL in-season call-up this year. The North Iowa Bulls led the North American Hockey League in in-season USHL advancements with six last season. Crawford will join former North Iowa Bull JT Veney on the Lancer’s defense corps for the weekend’s call-up.
