Jonasson and Lindgren Commit To Aurora University!

Apr 24, 2014

Two North Iowa Bull's recently made their collegiate commitment and to no ones surprise Aurora University is the recipient. Aurora has been the beneficiary of the talents available in the NA3HL. Aurora University, about 40 minutes from Chicago, IL is a Liberal Arts university that boasts a 15:1 student to instructor ratio and 20 NCAA Division 3 athletic teams.
Ron Lindgren, from Janesville, WI the NA3HL "Defenseman of the Year" and Bulls captain has made his commitment to Aurora University. Ron was a two year veteran of North Iowa and helped lead the Bulls to their 2013 USA Hockey National Championship and many other NA3HL accomplishments.  Ron's career with North Iowa totaled 105 games played with 17 goals, 61 assists and an astounding plus rating of +150. "Ron is a high character player who pushes the compete level in his teammates and himself. He brings a physical presence and has proven to be a responsible defender. Ron will make any team he is on better."
Conor Jonasson, a two year veteran of North Iowa and native of West Fargo, ND has also selected Aurora University for his collegiate development. "Conor scored the most important goal in North Iowa Bulls history to date, the game winner in last year's USA Hockey National title game." In 84 NA3HL contests Conor tallied 72 points on 26 goals and 46 assists and was +55. "Conor is a true competitor who plays his best when the chips are on the line. Look for Conor to be a gritty forward who goes to the hard areas to score."
Aurora head coach Ryan Buchanan commented, "We are excited to have two players of this caliber join our program, they helped build North Iowa into what it is today and we are hoping to get similar results from them here at Aurora University."

Congrats and best of luck to both Ron and Conor!
