After guiding the North Iowa Bulls to the 3HL West Division finals, coach Todd Sanden has been named the league’s coach of the year.
Sanden led the Bulls, an expansion team, to a 29-15-2-1 record in the regular season before falling in the league finals to Granite City two games to one.
The Bulls’ Matt Kroska was also honored as a second-team all-star selection.
Kroska led the Bulls with 51 points in 48 games played. He scored 13 goals and dished out 38 assists.
