TONIGHT’S PROMOTIONS: North Iowa continues its 10th Anniversary celebration with special jerseys, which will be auctioned off after tonight’s game. Several notable players from past seasons will return for appearances, and a jersey from the team’s inaugural 2011-12 season will be raffled to one lucky fan. BLIZZARD, MEET BLIZZARD…: The Bulls’ stars from Friday’s game are all North Iowa rookies, but had no trouble building chemistry thanks to their history on the ice together prior to joining the Bulls roster. Carson Jones and Kyle Heffron each saw North American Prospects Hockey League time on the Minnesota Blizzard’s 18-and- under squad, while Lucas Jorgenson was part of the group as a 16-and-under player. Despite the common name, the Minnesota Blizzard midget program shares no ties with the Alexandria Blizzard junior team.

STREAK SNAPPED: North Iowa’s loss to Alexandria two weeks ago ended what had been its second-longest active winning streak against any one team, though a win in the Runestone Community Center has historically been a hard-fought accomplishment. The Bulls enter with a 12-game winning streak against the Blizzard on home ice – Alexandria has not left Mason City with a win since a 7-5 triumph on January 23, 2015.
