U BETTER BELIEVE IT: Brayden Uttech gave the Bulls quite a spark in Friday’s game, notching a point on all three North Iowa goals. It was his first full game back in the North Iowa lineup, after injuries knocked him out of play in late January. The Sun Prairie, Wisconsin native returned last Saturday against Willmar, but did not register a point and did not finish the contest. Uttech has the capability to be a standout down the stretch, notching points in seven of his last nine, even with the hiccup in his return against the WarHawks.

SPOILER ALERT: North Iowa has locked in its top-two seed for the Fraser Cup West Division Playoffs, their 10th straight top-two finish in the standings. However, tonight brings the chance to play the spoiler in what will likely be the last meeting between the teams. After last night’s loss, the Steel can top out at 31 points, meaning a regulation loss or an Alexandria victory the rest of the way will cement a Blizzard playoff spot and put the Steel on the outside looking in. Alexandria is off tonight, while Willmar can help the Bulls’ cause, with the magic number for a division title still stuck on 16 points.
