Mason City, IA- North Iowa Bulls Forward and Assistant Captain Fuji Suzuki has been named as the NAHL Central Division’s Star of the Week for his performance in the Bulls’ two game series in Bismarck against the Bobcats. In Saturday, November 8th night’s victory which snapped the Bulls’ losing skid against the Bobcats, Suzuki recorded two goals and two assists for a remarkable four-point performance. It’s the highest single-game point output for any Bull this season. The first of Suzuki’s goals was a shorthanded tally, the second such goal for the Bulls this season and the first of Suzuki’s NAHL Career. His second goal tied the game and sent the game into overtime. Suzuki then assisted on Vitaliy Korolyuk’s overtime winning goal.

The Tokyo, Japan, native authored one of the most impressive games by any Bulls skater this season and helped power an emotional victory that helped keep the Bulls in the division’s fourth spot in the standings and ended a 28 game long losing skid against the Bismarck Bobcats.
“Fuji had a great weekend for us, said Bulls Head Coach Nick Bruneteau. “He found ways to contribute in all areas and was a catalyst in Saturday’s win. He’s an easy player to coach, and plays a mature team-first game. We expect him to continue to produce and lead like he has so far this season.”
Suzuki is the second Bull to earn the Division’s Star of the Week honor in the 2025-26 season. Mike Malatino was the Bulls’ first Star of the Week back in the season’s opening week of the season.
