Devon Buckland joins the North Iowa Bulls for his first season in 2024-25. He previously spent two & 1/2 years in the United States Hockey League. One spent with the Lincoln Stars where he worked as the Director of Game Day Operations, where he handled sponsorship & group sales, and the other 1 and 1/2 with the Omaha Lancers, where he worked as a Sales Executive and as the Lancer’s on-ice Emcee. Devon is a native of upstate New York and graduated from the State University of New York at Oswego.
CHRIS LYNCH – Media Director/Play-By-Play Broadcaster

Chris Lynch returns to the North Iowa Bulls for his second season in the 2024-25 Season. Chris arrived in the 2023-24 season after spending the prior season with the Danbury Hat Tricks (FPHL) and Danbury Jr. Hat Tricks (NAHL/NA3HL). Lynch hails from West Hartford, Connecticut. He went to Boston University, where he was fortunate enough to call Terrier hockey games for WTBU. He worked as a freelance broadcaster and writer in New England before going to Iona University, where he called Gaels’ basketball games on WICR and earned his Masters in Sports Media and Communications.
ABBY CHALMERS – Manager of Game Day Operations & Fan Engagement
Abby Chalmers joins the North Iowa Bulls for the 2025–26 season. Originally from Albert Lea, Minnesota, she recently graduated from Bethel University in St. Paul with a degree in English and minors in history and pre-law studies. While at Bethel, she worked as a social media manager and contributing writer for the NCAA Division III men’s and women’s hockey teams. Abby also spent time with Girls on the Run Minnesota, where she helped organize the state’s largest youth 5K and utilized her journalistic background to lead the program’s storytelling initiative.
