Enright Earns West Division’s Star of the Week

Sep 18, 2019

MASON CITY, Iowa – North Iowa forward Mason Enright made a big first impression last weekend against the Breezy Point North Stars. He’s made a big impression on the North American 3 Hockey League’s front office as well, earning the league’s Bauer Hockey NA3HL West Division Star of the Week award for this past week.

Enright was the star of the show in Friday night’s 9-0 win over the Breezy Point North Stars, posting a pair of goals and an assist in his junior debut. He came up even bigger on Saturday, with a goal and an assist – his third-period strike turned out to be the exclamation point in a 4-3 come-from-behind victory.

Six North Iowa players picked up Star of the Week awards last season, including three awards for current Arizona State ACHA forward Brendan Studioso. Enright will look to add to his early hot streak with the Bulls’ road trip this Saturday and Sunday for a two-game spar with the Peoria Mustangs. Saturday’s game gets underway at 6:45 p.m. at the Owens Center in Peoria. Live coverage of all North Iowa Bulls games, home and away, is available on HockeyTV.

Tickets are available now for the Bulls’ final home opener in the North Iowa Ice Arena, October 4 against the Willmar WarHawks. The last home-opening bash at the “Barn” will feature a pregame tailgate party, a postgame skate, free koozies with all paid adult admissions and more.
