Deals For Area College Students, Area Up-and-Comers Highlight Weekend

Apr 4, 2022

MASON CITY, Iowa – The 2021-22 hockey season has flown by, but this weekend marks the last full weekend at home this regular season for the North Iowa Bulls. College students and young up-and-comers in the community will get a chance to enjoy a game this weekend against the Bismarck Bobcats, with each group getting its own discounted rate.

Going to college is expensive enough as it is, and area students will get a break on Friday night with the Bulls’ “Room and Boarding” promotion, featuring $5 tickets for all college students with a valid student ID. Domestic beers will be marked down to just $3 for all fans of legal drinking age, whether they are still in school or not.

Saturday, the team welcomes area 4-H clubs and Scout troops for North Iowa’s “Junior Community Partner Night” – area 4-H members, Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts will get into the game for just $5, and tickets are available for their family members for just $7.

North Iowa will only play one home game next weekend in its last week of the regular season, hosting the St. Cloud Norsemen on Friday, April 15 before traveling to St. Cloud for a rematch on Saturday night. Playoff plans are still pending, with the Bulls still alive in the hunt for a Robertson Cup playoff spot.
