Davis Higley Commits to Nazareth

Mason City, IA- North Iowa Bulls forward Davis Higley has committed to play NCAA Division III College Hockey at Nazareth University, in Rochester, NY. 

Higley, a San Ramon, California, native, is in his second and final season of junior hockey, both spent with the North Iowa Bulls. He arrived in Mason City in 2024 after spending two seasons playing AAA Hockey with Omaha Mastery, in Omaha, Nebraska. In his first season, Higley suited up for 55 games and scored 3 goals and 1 assist for 4 points. So far this season, Higley has laced up for 44 games, notching 1 goal and 6 assists for 7 points. Davis will be the third Bull after Captain Brody Dietz & Assistant Captain Denis Hodas to hit the 100 NAHL games played milestone during the 2025-26 season.

Nazareth University is a private university in Rochester, NY, and competes in the United Collegiate Hockey Conference (UCHC). The Golden Flyers are coming off the most successful season of their program’s relatively young 14 season history, posting a 16-8-3 record.

Davis is the first Bull to make a new collegiate commitment during the 2025-26 season.
