Crawford Selected in USHL Draft

Mason City, IA- In Tuesday’s Phase II of the United States Hockey League Draft, North Iowa Bulls Defenseman Kash Crawford was selected 153rd by the USHL’s Omaha Lancers. The Rosewell, Georgia, native took the ice for 45 games on the Bulls’ blue line. He recorded 1 goal and 13 assists for 14 points, and gained confidence as his time on ice increased as the season went on. 

Crawford came to the Bulls after spending a season with the North Jersey Avalanche of the AYHL. 

The Bulls are one of 20 teams to have a player off their 2023-24 roster selected in the 2024 USHL Draft. Kash is one of 45 players selected in this year’s draft who played in the 2023-24 North American Hockey League season.

North Iowa led the NAHL in in-season USHL call ups with five. Justin Mexico, Charles Beland, and Teddy Richardson were all called up to the Lincoln Stars. JT Veney went up to the Omaha Lancers. And Dylan Johnson moved up to the Dubuque Fighting Saints.
