BULLS YOUTH DEVELOPMENT CAMP
This Development Camp will focus on skills for players to grow and develop.
The camp is intended for players ages 8U-18U.
Camp cost $425 (MCYH participants $400)
12.5 hours of ice time and 5 hours ice development
Group 1 (8U, 10U, 12U). (12.5 hours of Ice)
10:15am-11:15am Off Ice Skills and Concepts
Group 2 (14U, 16U, 18U)
2:30pm-3:30pm Off Ice Skills and Concepts
3:45pm-5:00pm Ice (12.5 hours of ice)
These skills focus on improving a player’s range of motion when controlling the puck. The important skill and ability to control the puck in any situation allows you to open up passing/shooting lanes, create more time and space to open up better/more opportunities for your line-mates. The confidence and ability to make plays through improved puck-handling skills will greatly improve your athlete’s impact on the game.

Hockey Sense/Small Area Games
These skills focus on developing each player’s ability to improve their offensive and defensive game instincts. We will put players in game situations to improve how they read and react.
- Create time and space
- Even situations 1v1, 2v2, 3v3
- Out-numbered situations 2v1, 3v2
- Offensive zone play / zone entry and rush attack
- Defensive concepts
- Gap control
- Stick on puck
- D-Side positioning
- Contain / pressure
Power Skating / Speed Agility and Quickness
Skating is an essential part of a player’s skill set. We use the Perfect Skating platform developed by NHL Skills coach Shawn Allard. These current methods are used by NHL players.
