Bulls Win 4-3 Over Austin

Feb 13, 2023

The Bulls won 4-3 Saturday night in front of 1,381 fans at the Mason City Ice Arena.
Logan Dombrowsky opened the scoring for the Bulls when Max Scott sent a shot on net that would go off the mask of goaltender Tyler Fromolz where Logan Dombrowsky would collect in and send one to the back of the net to put North Iowa up 1-0 on the Power play.  Austin would answer back when Ocean Wallace would tie it up for Austin on the Power Play.
Austin would extend the lead in the 2nd with a goal from Josh Giuliani.  North Iowa answered back when Jack Mesic would rifle a shot home from the point to tie it up at the 7:29 mark of the second.  Prior to tonight’s game we highlighted our UnbeliaBULL player to watch as Nolan Abraham, and he didn’t disappoint tonight. With 30 seconds left to go in the period, Abraham would take a breakaway pass from Jack Mesic where he went backhand forehand before tucking the puck in to put the Bulls up 3-2.
The Bulls would continue to put the pressure on when Jackson Disson would put a shot past the stick side of Fromolz to extend the lead 4-2 and would go on to win by a final of 4-3.
Up next for the Bulls is a 2 game homestand Friday February, 17th and Saturday the 18th against the visiting Aberdeen Wings.  Puck drop at the Mason City Arena slated for 7:10 p.m. Live streaming coverage is available on HockeyTV Presented by Dakota Fix Shelter Insurance.
