Bulls Welcome Chris Lynch as New Media Director

Mason City, IA- The North Iowa Bulls are thrilled to welcome Chris Lynch as the team’s new Director of Media & Play-By-Play Broadcaster!

Chris arrives in Mason City after a year with the Danbury Hat Tricks of the Federal Prospects Hockey League and Danbury Jr. Hat Tricks of the NAHL and NA3HL. In his time with the Hat Tricks, the West Hartford, CT, native served as the primary Play-By-Play broadcaster for all three teams and capped his season with the call of the Hat Tricks’ first Commissioner’s Cup Championship win in overtime.

Before that, Lynch completed his Masters at Iona University, Bachelors at Boston University, and worked as a freelance broadcaster in the New England area while also working as a beat writer covering college hockey events ranging from the Beanpot to the Frozen Four.

“I’m excited to join the hockey family in Mason City!”, said Lynch. “This is a proud team with an excellent tradition of competitive hockey in North Iowa and I am honored to be a part of the Bulls organization.”

Lynch will make his Bulls broadcasting debut at the NAHL showcase, in Blaine MN, when the Bulls matchup against the Fairbanks Ice Dogs on Wednesday, September 13th at 7:15 PM CT. All Bulls games will be available to watch on NAHLTV and to listen on the North Iowa Bulls Mixlr page

The Bulls’ first home game of the 2023-24 season is October 13th against the Minot Minotauros at 7:10 PM CT.
