Bulls Sweep Aberdeen with Shutout Win

The Bulls swept the weekend series against Aberdeen with a 4-0 shutout win on Saturday.
Justin Mexico opened the scoring at the 13:10 mark of the first when he took a pass in front of the North Iowa bench and was able to skate all the way to the net before putting a shot to the back of the net to take the 1-0 lead.
 
Simone Dadie would add the 2nd of the night when he picked the puck up at the blue line and put a shot over the low glove side of Cole Moore to extend the lead to 2-0.
Less than 3 minutes later, Byron Hartley would fire a shot from the faceoff dot that would find nothing but twine to put the Bulls up 3-0.
The Bulls add one more when Jack Mesic would send a shot from the blue line that would get redirected by Max Scott and the Bulls would go on to win 4-0.
 
Several big stories came out of tonight’s game featuring Logan Dombrowsky extending his point streak to 7 games in a row as he collected an assist in tonight’s game and Mitchell Day collected his 4th shutout of the season and 5th win in a row following tonight’s victory.
Up next for the Bulls is the battle of the horns featuring a 2 game home stand Friday and Saturday against Minot.  The puck drop  is slated for 7:10 p.m. Live streaming coverage is available on HockeyTV Presented by Dakota Fix Shelter Insurance.
