Bulls Raise Over $20,000 for Retrieving Freedom

Feb 18, 2023

The Bulls celebrated the second night of retrieving Freedom in front of a packed crowd of 1,663.  Retrieving Freedom provides service dogs to children with autism and service veterans.  From the time a dog is chosen for the program to when they are partnered with a child or veteran, the cost can be $40-$50 thousand dollars.  The Bulls sported specialty jerseys that were auctioned off post-game during a live auction with the proceeds going to Retrieving Freedom.  4 Jerseys sold for over $1,000.

Some of the top-selling jerseys featured Jackson Bisson who recorded two goals on the night as well as Carson Buydens who would record the 3rd goal of the night on the powerplay for the North Iowa Bulls.  The top seller of the evening was Landon MacDonald’s jersey which sold for $1,550.

Thanks to all who came out to support the North Iowa Bulls and Retrieving Freedom.
Up next for the Bulls is a road trip for a rematch against the Aberdeen Wings on Friday, Feb. 24th, and Saturday, Feb. 25th.  The puck drop at the Odde Ice Center is slated for 7:10 p.m. Live streaming coverage is available on HockeyTV Presented by Dakota Fix Shelter Insurance.
