Mar 3, 2020

MASON CITY, Iowa – 2019-20 won’t just be known as the year of “Hockey Heads Downtown” in Mason City, it will also be known as the year that the West Division championship returned to the River City. The Bulls wrapped up the division title with a win on Saturday over the Peoria Mustangs, and with the Alexandria Blizzard locking up their playoff position over the weekend, the Bulls already know who their first-round opponent will be.

Tickets for the Bulls’ West Division semifinal series will go on sale Wednesday morning at 10 a.m. – current season ticket holders receive first right of refusal to retain their seats through next Wednesday, and the seats that are not retained by season ticket holders will be released at this time. All adult tickets for Bulls postseason home games are $12, with children 17 and under admitted for just $6.

As the division champion, the Bulls have earned the right to host two games of this best-of-three series. Tickets for the second home game of the series will also be made available, and fans can purchase tickets to both games for just $20. Since this is a best-of-three series, a second home game may not be needed – if this game is not played, fans holding a ticket for this game will receive their choice of a flex ticket for next season, or a $10 credit on 2020-21 season tickets.

Game 1 of the West Division semifinals will be played on Friday, March 13 at 7:30 p.m., followed by a road game at Alexandria the following night at 7:10. Game 3, if necessary, will be held at the Mason City Multipurpose Arena on Sunday, March 15 at 7:30 p.m. The NA3HL will officially release its full playoff schedule after the conclusion of the regular season this weekend.

Tickets for Bulls’ playoff home games can be purchased at www.northiowabulls.com, or by calling the front office at 641-423-4625 during regular business hours. This will be the team’s first postseason run in the new Mason City Multipurpose Arena, after averaging 1,585 fans per game in their new home during the second half of the season.

2020-21 season tickets are also on sale, with discounts available through the end of the month. After April 1, season ticket prices will go up, and the Early Bird special will also no longer be in effect.
