North Iowa nominates Patrick Sivets for Forward of the Month for February. Patrick has been a consistent goal scorer for the Bulls this season and February proved to be the most productive month for Sivets regarding important goals. Patrick tallied 5 powerplay goals and 3 game-winners in the month of February. Patrick's stats for the month of February included 9 goals and 4 assists in 9 games played, while also registering a +4 rating. The recruit of St. Olaf College will be needed down the stretch if the Bulls are going very far in a playoff run.
Connor Langfield has been the man for the North Iowa "D" corps and again garners the nomination for Defenseman of the Month. In 9 games played Langfield recorded 3 goals and 6 assists and was an amazing +11. Connor, like Patrick, scored important goals and was great on special teams, scoring 2 shorthanded goals and a powerplay goal to go along with his game winning goal for the month. Connor's confidence is showing and getting him noticed by local colleges. He will be making a decision soon on his NCAA commitment.
