Bulls Lose Championship Game in West Division Finals

After going into overtime 2 nights in a row, the North Iowa Bulls had a very tough loss in the championship game of the west division finals.

The North Iowa Bulls lost momentum in the first shift when Granite City’s Peter Lindblad scored 40 seconds into the competition. Lindblad made the deficit larger when he scored his second of the game 8 minutes later. North Iowa was able to get on the board when Bobby Chapman found the back of the net with assists from Eric Behrend and Skylar Harding.

Granite City didn’t waste time after the first intermission when TJ Christenson got their 3rd goal of the game. Steve Heller was able to contest with 6 minutes remaining in the game. North Iowa wasn’t able to contest keeping the score 3-2. Goalie, Matt Bartles, was able to stop a staggering 27 shots throughout the game.
