MASON CITY, Iowa – The North Iowa Bulls’ 2021 home schedule is down to two games, and the Bulls are going big to close out the calendar year. The Bulls will welcome the Springfield Jr. Blues to the Mason City Arena on Friday and Saturday night for their first jersey auction weekend of the season, featuring special Busch Light-themed jerseys, featuring the brand’s iconic mountains and Columbia-and-royal blue color scheme. The Busch Light logo will also be featured near the hem of the jersey at both the waist and sleeves, and the design includes several additional wintry touches including snowflakes, pine trees and snowflakes shaped from hockey sticks.
These jerseys will be worn at both the Friday and Saturday contests against the Jr. Blues, and auctioned off in person following Saturday’s game. Fans will also be welcomed onto the ice for a postgame skate on Saturday, the final North Iowa home contest in 2021. One lucky fan can even win a customizable jersey prior to the auction, with a jersey raffle set for both of this weekend’s games. Raffle tickets are $10 each, with the winner to be drawn at the third period of Saturday’s games.
This weekend also marks the Bulls’ annual “Naughty and Nice” weekend, with a visit from the Grinch on Friday night and an ugly-sweater contest. Santa Claus and other holiday characters will make their appearances at Saturday’s game. The North Iowa Bulls front office will be open throughout this weekend’s games for kids to drop off their letters to Santa – letters that are dropped off in the office should be addressed to Santa Claus, North Pole, Canada H0H 0H0, along with the child’s name and phone number just in case Santa’s elves need to get in touch to have questions answered.
In addition to those promotions, Friday’s game is also another “Friday Night Lights” game, with postgame autographs from selected North Iowa Bulls players, and season ticket holders will receive special $3 pricing on all beers up to the opening puck drop as part of the Bulls’ season ticket holder Happy Hour special.
The Bulls’ first-ever meetings with Springfield are slated for 7:30 p.m. puck drops on Friday and Saturday night at the Mason City Arena.
