The North Iowa Bulls took 3 of 4 points against the Central Division leader Austin Bruins last weekend. Friday at home the Bruins nipped the Bulls 6-5 in a shootout. Nolan Abraham and Logan Dombrowsky each had a goal and an assist. Max Scott, Eli Miller, and Byron Hartley also tallied for the Bulls.
On Saturday in Austin, Mitch Day recorded his second shutout of the season in a 2-0 win. Blake Ulve’s power play goal late in the first period proved to be the game winner. Jackson Bisson provided an insurance goal mid way through the third assisted by Nolan Abraham.
