2021-22 PROMOTIONAL SCHEDULE

MASON CITY, Iowa – The North Iowa Bulls will have more fun than ever to offer fans in 2021-22, with 28 home games on the schedule as the team moves to the North American Hockey League. The Bulls have announced their initial promotional schedule for the upcoming season, as the team takes its first shot at winning a Robertson Cup championship.

Several longtime favorites are back on the promotional calendar, including the team’s poster schedule giveaway during the home-opening game on Friday, September 24 against the defending Robertson Cup runner-up Aberdeen Wings. That game kicks off the Bulls’ “1 Town, 2 Teams, 3 Days, 4 Games” celebration in conjunction with the Mason City Toros, who will make their NA3HL debut the following afternoon.

Bulls players will go under the “Friday Night Lights” on Friday, October 1 against the Austin Bruins. North Iowa fans will have a chance to meet the new faces on the roster and get postgame autographs from all of their favorite players.

October 15 and 16 marks the team’s “Fall Into Hockey” weekend, featuring a pumpkin-gutting contest and chances to play pumpkin ring toss in Friday’s game, and a baking contest for Saturday’s game. The Bulls will celebrate Veterans Day at their November 13 game against Austin, honoring all veterans and active military with free admission to the game.

The “Teddy Bear Toss” returns on December 3 against St. Cloud, as the Bulls encourage fans to bring a stuffed toy to fling onto the ice after scoring their first goal of the night. The holiday spirit continues the following weekend against Springfield, with an appearance from the Grinch and an ugly sweater contest set for that Friday night’s game. The 2021 home finale in Saturday’s game will feature an appearance by jolly old St. Nick himself, as well as a toy drive – both the toy drive and the previous week’s “Teddy Bear Toss” will benefit the Salvation Army and Toys For Tots.

More appearances are on tap for January 8, with several favorite DC Comics characters set to make an appearance, and the team’s annual Cinemania Night on February 4.

With March designated as National Reading Month, the Bulls are getting into the habit on March 11 for the team’s “Reading Stampede,” featuring a book exchange. March 18 is designed for slightly older learners, as the team invites college students to enjoy a night out for just $5 on “Room and Boarding” night.

Two special jersey-auction weekends are scheduled this season, with details to be announced closer to those dates. North Iowa will wear special jerseys on November 5 and 6 against the Bismarck Bobcats, and on March 25 and 26 against the Minot Minotauros. Those jerseys will be auctioned off following both Saturday games on those weekends, with a postgame skate on each of those nights as well. A postgame skate has also been set for January 1, to celebrate New Year’s Day.

More promotional dates remain to be filled, with details to be announced closer to the day of each game, and the Bulls’ promotional schedule is subject to change.

Season tickets for the 2021-22 campaign remain on sale, with an announcement regarding single-game ticket sales and the Bulls’ preseason schedule set for Monday morning. Several perks are available for season ticket holders, including a 10-percent discount on all purchases at Brutus’s Locker Room Sponsored by Christie Door Company, pregame Happy Hour specials at all Friday home games, the Bulls’ “No Ticket Left Behind” program that allows season ticket holders to exchange any unused season ticket for a single-game ticket, and more. Fans can also keep up with the latest Bulls content online by following the team’s social media platforms on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and YouTube.
