The North Iowa Bulls final tryout for the 2014-15 season is August 8-10 in Andover, Minnesota. This tryout is an open/invitation tryout and any player with junior eligibility who is not property of another NA3HL team is welcome to attend. Our team has enjoyed much success and this is credited to the outstanding players that have worn the Bulls jersey. This year alone we have 13 players from last years team who are moving upward in their hockey careers. That leaves many spots available and opportunities open for incoming players. One unique factor of the North Iowa Bulls is that we do not lock (contract) any players prior to our main camp tryout, every spot is available. Currently it looks like we will get possibly one goaltender back, 2 defensemen, and possibly 5 or 6 forwards that played in North Iowa last year. Our returners understand that we do not promise them their spots back as well so truly every spot is up for grabs. Our goal is to bring 28 players from our main camp into Mason City in late August for our training camp and exhibition schedule which historically has had some games against NAHL teams that are preparing for the NAHL Showcase. The North Iowa Bulls are the only USA Hockey Tier III team that has an affiliation in the USHL-Bloomington Thunder and the NAHL-Amarillo Bulls. Come train where your game has no limits.
