From the NA3HL website:

West Division Star of the Week: Tim Santopoalo, forward, North Iowa Bulls

After recording 66 points in just 43 games last year, North Iowa forward Tim Santopoalo showed no signs of slowing down this year as he opened up the season with a six-point weekend in three North Iowa wins. On Friday, the native of Roscoe, Illinois had an assist in a 5-2 win over Granite City.  The next night, Santopoalo (5’7/160) had a power play goal in a 4-1 win over the Lumberjacks.  On Sunday, Santopoalo saved his best hockey of the weekend for the last game as he recorded two goals and two assists for a four point game in a 9-1 win at Breezy Point. “Tim hasn’t missed a beat since last season and really was motivated to get better over the summer.  He has a lot of quickness and uses it to his advantage,” said North Iowa head coach Todd Sanden.

Goaltender Jared Schletty was an honorable mention for his stellar performance over the weekend as well. Goo Bulls!
