Machusak nets hat trick, leads North Iowa to 8-0 win over Chicago

Kadin Machusak netted a hat trick to lead North Iowa over Chicago, 8-0.

Machusak notched his first tally 15:30 into the first period. He then added goals at 5:13 into the second and at 11:16 into the second.

North Iowa excelled on the penalty kill, not giving up a single goal in three chances. North Iowa\’s offense rang up 49 shots on Chicago\’s net.

North Iowa additionally got points from Tom Lindgren, who also registered one goal and one assist. North Iowa also got a goal from David Min as well. In addition, North Iowa received assists from Joe Guimont, who had two, Adam Orn, Zack Cole, and Jack Stang, who each chipped in one, and Daylon De Souza, Marshall Barnes, and Brett Gravelle, who contributed three each.
