Larson Named Division Star of the Week

Oct 25, 2016

MASON CITY, Iowa – First it was Kohei Sato, then came Connor Clemons, last week was Sean Mallonee and now there’s another Bull being recognized by the league.

Owen Larson (Edina, Minn./North Iowa Bulls) was named NA3HL’s Central Division Star of the Week. Larson put up video game numbers in Chicago, scoring 5 goals, adding 10 assists and finishing with a +18 rating in the three game sweep.

“Owen is a pure goal scorer. If you give him a chance to beat you, he will. He is an accurate shooter that wants the puck around the net,” said Head Coach Todd Sanden.

The Bulls will look to extend their current 10-game winning streak this weekend as they take on the Rochester Ice Hawks. Friday’s contest is at the barn with the opening face-off coming at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, the team will travel up to Rochester with puck drop at 7 p.m. Both games will video streamed online on HockeyTV while you can listen to the Friday’s home game at mixlr.com/northiowabulls with the broadcasting beginning around 7:15 p.m.
