Johnson Makes Training Camp Roster for Minot!

Jun 30, 2013

North Iowa Bulls forward Jake Johnson from Sun Prairie, WI has made the training camp roster of the NAHL Minot Minotauros.  After a very good showing at the Minot Minotauro's main camp tryout last weekend in Vadnais Heights, MN Jake received the news he was hoping for.  In post tryout meetings Jake met with the 'Tauros staff and was told he would be reporting to Minot later this summer to continue his quest to be an NAHL'er.  Minot head coach Marty Murray mentioned that Jake had a great weekend and would have an opportunity to stay with them as long as his work ethic stayed consistent and he competed hard every day.  "I felt Jake was a great fit for the NAHL after a year with the North Iowa Bulls because he has developed into an honest two way player.  Jake understands that to keep getting ice time he has to be very responsible defensively and chip on the offensive side when he get's an opportunity."  The North Iowa Bulls wish Jake Johnson continued success in his efforts to continue his development with Minot.

Go Bulls!
