Johnson Commits to UW-Superior!

The North Iowa Bulls are proud to announce that former Bull Jake Johnson has committed to the University of Wisconsin-Superior. Jake was the overtime catalyst that sent North Iowa into the National Championship game in 2013. "Jake buried a James Hughes (UW-Superior) rebound in the second OT to send North Iowa to the title game." Hughes, who is also at UW-Superior and could be a possible linemate for Johnson and the "Yellowjackets". Johnson, from Madison Wisconsin was tendered by the Minot Minotauros (NAHL) after the 2012-13 season and played in 61 games including playoffs and recorded 16 points. Johnson tallied 46 NA3HL points in 47 regular season and playoff games, he also contributed 4 points in 5 games at the 2013 USA Hockey Junior National Championship. "Jake is an honest player who has one of the best work ethics I have seen. He plays the game hard and consistently gives his best effort. Jake will be a successful college hockey player based on these components of his game." The North Iowa Bulls congratulate and wish Jake Johnson much success at UW-Superior.
