West Division Star of the Week: Johnny Panvica, forward, North Iowa Bulls

The North Iowa Bulls stayed in 1st place in the West Division with a weekend road sweep in Minnesota against the Flying Aces. 19-year-old forward Johnny Panvica had four goals during the weekend as North Iowa exploded for 16 goals in the two wins. The native of Bloomington, Minnesota, scored a goal in Friday’s 7-3 win and on Saturday, Panvica (5’8/175) had a hat-trick, including the game-winning goal, in a 9-0 shutout. For the season, Panvica is tied for the team lead in scoring with 40 points in 28 games played. "Johnny is a multi dimensional player who we use in all situations.  His latest offensive production is due to his work ethic and natural ability.  His consistency is the result of his drive to succeed every time he steps on the ice.  We are thankful for Johnny being with our team,” said Bulls head coach Todd Sanden.

You can catch Johnny and the boys here at the barn in Mason City this Friday and Saturday vs the Alexandria Blizzard with a 7:30pm puck drop both nights!
