Jake Mullendore Commits to Marian University

Apr 13, 2015

From Head Coach/GM Todd Sanden:

Jake Mullendore capitalized on an opportunity. After playing a year and a half for the Minnesota Flying Aces Jake was acquired by the North Iowa Bulls in mid December of 2014. Jake was the Aces leading scorer in his time there. The change in scenery would allow Jake to relax and not have the burden or pressure of carrying the teams offensive output on his shoulders. It did not however diminish his ability to contribute to the success of his team. In 20 regular season games with the Bulls Jake recorded 10 goals and 10 assists and was +15. Jake finished the NA3HL regular season with 20 goals and 24 assists which put him fourth in North Iowa Bulls team scoring. Taylor Langford the Marian University Ice Hockey assistant coach commented, "We are very excited to have Jake on board for next season, and believe his speed and work ethic will make him a very successful college player." Jake Mullendore made the comment that he couldn't be happier with his decision to attend Marian University and also thanks the Minnesota Flying Aces and the North Iowa Bulls for helping him continue his development as a player and a person. "To end my junior career as a national champion and get the opportunity to play college hockey after is pretty cool" said Mullendore. The North Iowa Bulls wish Jake Mullendore much success at Marian University and thank him for his contribution to another great Bull's season!
