MASON CITY, Iowa – The North Iowa Bulls and forward Mitch Dolter are off to the best possible start to their 2017-18 seasons – the Bulls are 2-0 after a weekend sweep at Wisconsin this past week, and Dolter has been recognized as the league’s NA3HL Bauer Hockey Central Division Star of the Week for this week.

The Faribault, Minnesota native opened his ’17-’18 campaign with 10 points this past weekend, including four goals. Three of those tallies came as part of a natural hat trick in Friday night’s 9-2 victory over the Whalers. Dolter’s five points also helped him earn a game-best +5 plus/minus mark in Friday’s win.

This is the second time Dolter has been chosen as the Central Division Star of the Week – he also picked up the honor once last season after a three-goal New Year’s weekend against the Rochester Ice Hawks.
