Bulls Players Productive in NAHL Stints

Jan 1, 2015

In a "New Years Eve" battle of NAHL rivals with the Magicians and Wilderness, former NA3HL North Iowa Bulls players produced results. For the Magicians, Austin Jackson tallied an assist on the Magicians only goal of the contest. Jackson drove hard to the net getting a shot off and left a rebound opportunity for a line mate to drive home. Brett Gravelle, who returned to the Wilderness for some NAHL action recorded one goal on 4 shots in the 5-1 win for the Wilderness. Gravelle tallied the second goal of the game on a nifty cross crease play beating former Bulls goaltender and current Magicians goaltender Chris Amsden. Gravelle's goal ended up being the game winner in this contest. Both players were rewarded with a lot of ice time in this game and certainly impacted the game in a positive way. Gravelle and Jackson were both +1 at the end of the contest. Johnny Panvica travelled to the upper peninsula of Michigan to get some time in with the Soo Eagles. While Johnny did not appear in any games while with the Soo, he did turn his time there into a tender opportunity for next year.  Johnny made a good impression on the Soo staff in a couple skates he took part in while with them. Look for more Bulls players to garner some of these opportunities as rosters in the NAHL tighten getting closer to the February 10th roster freeze.
