Bulls Make Roster Moves

The North Iowa Bulls have made some moves to bolster their depth at the forward position. Jake Mullendore a 94 forward from Amery, WI was brought in via trade with the Minnesota Flying Aces.Jake represented team Midwest at the 2014 NA3HL Top Prospects tournament and recorded 7 points in three games. In two games with the Bulls Jake has scored 1 goal and added two assists and was +5. Another trade that involved an NA3HL team brought Tommy Heinzman from the St. Louis Jr. Blues to North Iowa. Heinzman, a native of St. Louis, Mo and also a 94, is another very skilled player who will add scoring and size to the Bulls lineup. Tommy currently has 30 points in NA3HL play this year. He has also been an NA3HL All Star in previous seasons representing team Central at the 2014 NA3HL Top Prospects event. Jack Stang, recently acquired via trade with the USPHL- Tampa Bay Jr. team is a 95 forward who brings a crafty style of play and deceptive speed to the Bulls. Jack has NAHL experience with the Brookings Blizzard playing in 48 games in 2013-14. Jack is from Mendota Heights, MN. Finally, Jake Johnson a 94 from Sun Prairie, WI rejoins the North Iowa Bulls. Jake was the overtime goal scorer in the USA Hockey National Semi-final game in 2013 against the Helena Bighorns. After a brief yet productive college experience this year Jake brings his tenacious work ethic and desire to succeed back to North Iowa. In 2013-14 while playing for the Minot Minotauros he appeared in 61 games including playoffs. "The recent additions will definitely add depth to our lineup and enhance the amount of experience we have up front."
