The North Iowa Bulls nominate forward Matt Kroska for player of the week. Kroska who has led the Bulls in points for most of the second half of the season is a model of consistency. "Matt has been good for us all year long and is our captain," noted Head Coach Todd Sanden. Recently against the Minnesota Flying Aces Matt scored North Iowa's league leading 21st shorthanded goal of the season. The Bulls depend on Matt in all situations and also rely on his veteran status and work ethic for leadership. Matt currently leads the Bulls with 21 goals and 45 assists for 66 points and is +44.
In the words of Herb Brooks, "AGAIN!" Connor Langfield has to be the hottest defenseman in the 3HL. He recently scored the game winning goal in the Bulls only game of the weekend on Friday against the Aces. Connor has not only been really good for the Bulls he has caught a little luck recently along the way. His recent game winner came off a dump in off the glass that the slipped by the Minnesota netminder.
