Brett Gravelle Named West Division Star of the Week!

West Division Star of the Week: Brett Gravelle, forward, North Iowa Bulls

The North Iowa Bulls put themselves in the driver’s seat for another division title as they picked up a weekend home-and-home sweep over the Twin City Steel. 19-year-old forward Brett Gravelle was a big part of the offense that scored 12 goals in the two wins as the Forest Lake, Minnesota native chimed in with five points in the two wins. On Friday, Gravelle (5’10/180) had two assists in a 7-5 road win in Twin City and on Saturday, he picked up three more assists in a 5-2 home win against the Steel. For the season, Gravelle ranks 2nd in the team scoring with 57 points in just 34 games played. “The consistency in his production is driving his success. Brett has had a big impact on the power play, which is a big part of our overall success as a team,” said North Iowa head coach Todd Sanden.

Brett and the Bulls wrap up the regular season this Friday and Saturday vs the Granite City Lumberjacks with 7:30pm puck drops both nights. The Bulls will be sporting retro North Iowa Husky jerseys and will be auctioning them off to raise money for Make-A-Wish of Iowa! Friday is also a trading card night, and Saturday will also be $1 beer night and conculde with a post-game skate with the Bulls!
