Austin Jackson Commits to UW-Stout!

Mar 3, 2016

From Head Coach/GM Todd Sanden:

The North Iowa Bulls are proud to announce that Waterloo, IA native and North Iowa Bulls forward Austin Jackson has made his NCAA commitment and will attend UW-Stout. Jackson joins former Bulls Joe Kleven, Dylan Zins, and Sam Naegele as part of the Blue Devils program.  Austin has been a part of the North Iowa Bulls for parts of three seasons and is a big part of our success this season. He started the season in the NAHL with the Minnesota Magicians but felt a return to North Iowa was in his best interest of playing time and having an impact role for the Bulls. Austin has not disappointed, he is second in goals scored for the Bulls so far with 26 and his career stats are impressive recording 40 goals and 47 assists in 89 regular season games combined in the NAHL and NA3HL. A member of the 2016 Central division Top Prospects team Austin registered 2 goals and 2 assists in that event and was +3 in the 3 games. "We are proud to be a part of Austin's development as a junior hockey player and feel the reward of his commitment probably as much as he does. UW-Stout is a program that is trending upward and with the help of many NA3HL alums currently playing there we feel it is a great fit for Austin."

Austin and the Bulls are back on home-ice this Saturday, March 5th at 730pm vs the Wisconsin Whalers! Go Bulls!
